RESERVE DUO FOR BOMBER’S BIG BANG TESTIMONIAL MEETING NAMED - STORM SKIPPER MARTIN KNUCKEY AND TEAM HARRIS RIDER #137 KYLE ROBERTS WILL BE 17 +18 .
The Chris Harris Testimonial BOMBER BIG DAY at Coventry on Sunday March 20th will feature a 16 man line-up with 20 heats and four finals along with back up races. Standing –by as meeting reserves are Coventry Storm skipper Martin Knuckey and local lad Kyle Roberts , who is one of the Team Harris riders.
Knuckey , fellow Cornishman of Harris , had a superb end to his 2015 season and leads his side in the quest for National League honours in 2016. The former Trelawny mascot started his speedway career at Newport before joining Coventry when they started their Storm side in 2013 and he is the longest serving rider for the side.
Roberts is a graduate from cycle speedway where he has a multitude of titles to his name. He started riding speedway on 125cc bikes in the second half at Coventry and in the British Junior Championships. He was named as the first rider in the newly formed Team Harris taking the rider number #137. He rode in the Midland Development League in 2015 for the Coventry Vikings and is looking to establish himself as a contender for a National League spot with The Storm in 2016.
